A Stitch in Time .... curtain

I needed a curtain to be put on a door with glass insets.  As I could not find a fitting pre-made one I bought fabric to make one.
Without sewing machine it was a matter of stitching the seams by hand.

My grandma had taught me how to do this but I haven't done a project like this for years! But gosh ... I so enjoyed the process.

Running stitches with sewing thread  for the seams and some little cross stitches with red embroidery thread on the fabric as the curtain looked a bit too plain.  I secured these little cross stitches with a little knot. Petra.
